I hate French.
No, seriously. I hate it so much that when my friend Lally found out and started reading LotR to me in French, I yelled at her so loud she swears I broke her phone speaker.

So do I. How do you avoid making silly mistakes? That's what gets me every time, even if I understand the concept.

Two people hating me?!?! H- How did.... th..that h-happen? *sobs in a corner*
I check my work everytime I do anything, and avoid the silly mistakes. We are doing exponents right now in my algebra class, and our cool math teacher gave a bit advance teaching last year in 6th grade, and it's all so easy!
My math teacher says, "In exponents, you are never doing what you think you are doing" and on the matter of 'y' actually being 'y' to the power one she says, "It is not there, but it is"
Dude, I wanted to laugh so hard then!

You're learning exponets?
Honey, that isn't algerbra. That isn't even prealgerbra. That's just normal seventh grade math.
Algerbra is point slope form(y-y1=m[x-x1]) and compound inequalities (13 <28x + -4 x 4 > 3 and 2<14 - 46y< 13) and x2-x1 over y2-y1 form or standard form (a1+b2=c) or things like that.
That's algerbra. That's barely even algerbra-- that's pratically pre algerbra. If you're doing exponents, that is not an algerbra class.

They do some exponents in algebra. Like the whole properties thing. I forget what it's called, but you can multiply an exponent by like a half and .... never mind. I did that so long ago, I can't remember. I haven't had to do anything with exponents in years.
